After a delayed start due to a late pitch change Ickenham kicked off shooting downhill on the car park pitch against a Pinnstars 4-2-3-1 formation. Pinnstars were aiming to start on the front foot and they did just that immediately threatening in behind Ickenham's fullbacks.

Niam had an early effort fly just wide of the post after wriggling through a few challenges in the box. Khelan also had an early effort sail just over the bar after shooting from distance. Pinnstars spent 10 minutes camped in the Ickenham half without finding a breakthrough. Arav would be on hand to snuff out any danger when Ickenham did bypass the midfield.

Despite Pinnstars' domination Avi had to be alert of the danger of Ickenham on the counter by making a smart save and sweeping behind the Pinnstars defence. Laksh and Rian are alert to Ickenham central attacks.

Around the 24th minute Niam finds some space on the right-hand side. After beating his man he is taken down inside the box. Penalty! Niam dusts himself and tucks away the penalty. 1-nil Pinnstars.

10 minutes later after more Pinnstars pressure Niam finds himself more space on right hand side. After driving towards the byline his cross is deflected into the Ickenham goal. 2-nil Pinnstars.

The second Pinnstars goals seems to trigger Ickenham as they begin to threaten with raids of their own. Pinnstars see out the half without conceding with Kiaran impressing with some key interceptions and calm play at the back. Half time 2-nil to Pinnstars.

Pinnstars kicked off the second half intending to make another fast start but were more sluggish when compared to the first half. The slower start combined with a good Ickenham start to the second half meant that most of the play was in Pinnstars half.

Ickenham threatened first with a golden opportunity after a good cross to the back post which was sent inches wide of the post. Next, Ickenham have an effort which just clips the Pinnstars crossbar. The Pinnstars goals is living a charmed life at this point!

On 52 minutes Ickenham get their reward with a fantastic dipping effort from the edge of the Pinnstars box. 2-1 Pinnstars and game on.

Ickenham then have a fantastic chance to equalise with just Avi to beat. Avi stands tall and saves the effort with ease. The chance seems to click the Pinnstars attack into life and they begin to dominate possession again with great passing and movement with Telvin often involved in neat triangles.

On 57 minutes Pinnstars have a corner. Akshar whips in a dangerous corner which is not dealt with by Ickenham. After some hesitation by the Ickenham defence Dryen takes control and slots the ball into the bottom corner. 3-1 Pinnstars.

On 63 minutes Vedant powers in a corner which is cleared to Euan just inside the box. Euan calmly returns the ball goalward and find the bottom corner again. 4-1 Pinnstars.

And soon after the Dyren finds the bottom corner again after the snapshot from inside the box. 5-1 Pinnstars.

With all the momentum (and the slope!) with Pinnstars they switch to a 3-man defence to press home the advantage with Dillon marshalling the centre of defence very effectively. The change pays off, as another corner floods the Ickenham box with Pinnstars players. Ashwin reacts quickest to a loose ball to poke home to add more gloss to the score line. 6-1 Pinnstars.

Pinnstars continue to pin the Ickenham team back in their half with a full press but cannot find another goal. A super performance all round and a well-deserved win.
